Confirming that KL has been chosen for CMO, not yet announced publicly.

This is COMPLETE BS. Absolutely incorrect and wrong.

Even in the most optimistic scenario, there's no way she's even qualified to be a CMO, completely lacking in so many aspects of marketing leadership.

It's sad that people in marketing would even think she had the qualifications.

Goes to show how dysfunctional not to mention delusional so many in Marketing at Alteryx really are. Living with their heads in the sand.

Not for much longer, though. Just a few weeks away from........buh bye !!

Any moment, really. They're interviewing CMOs and Demand Gen leaders.

We need leadership badly.

I can confirm this, as well. Most marketing “leaders” are going to be pushed out, or given the choice to subordinate to the new CMO’s chosen leaders — an effective demotion, with corresponding salary reduction.

Severance for those affected will (yet again) be bare minimum of 6-8 weeks in the US depending on where one lives. You MIGHT get a few weeks’ pop if you have been around for 3-5 years, but don’t expect much.

Layoff target planning and stack ranking are being done across all of Marketing, not just in the US.

Overall the goal is to remove higher-cost employees, especially those who have been around for multiple years. Said in another way, marketing salary cost reduction of another 25-30% targeted. This is because marketing is not pulling its weight and making its pipeline generation targets.

If your tenure is in the past 1-2 years, you are somewhat safer than folks around for 3-5 years, especially if you are at the Sr. Manager level or below. Director and up will be significantly more vulnerable.

If you aren’t currently or haven’t been actively interviewing outside of Alteryx, I HIGHLY recommend you get a jump NOW so that you are in a good position when the layoff is finalized next month and executed in May, and severance payout is received.

Kudos to those who have already bounced out on their own accord this year and late last year.

This also means that if your final RSU cliff happens in June, you will not receive it. There’s madness to their method ….

Kelly deserves it.

Jirina will not stay forever, new CMO is coming. Kelly would be good, but from what I heard, new CMO is cleaning house and bringing their own crew.

Marketing is going to look very different in couple of weeks. May the latest.
