Pay will carry over...until the vendor cuts everyone soon after that they feel are making too much with no severance. As for tenure that does not carry over as the vendor is not part of Allstate. The vendors don't care about your time with Allstate and the are ultimately just handling laying you off instead of Allstate themselves.

I was told both our tenured and our pay would carry over.

No severance package offered, either you take the transfer or quit.
And if you quit you do not get severance.

We would go to the new company as a new employee, 0 tenure, but we were told that Allstate "negotiated" us to come in at the same pay as we have currently.

The vendors do not offer severance. We were told this today.

Just curious, but I think I know the answer to this.

If you do chose to be "rebadged" for the vendor, I'm guessing your "years of service" goes to 0. If they subsequently lay you off a few months in are they likely to provide any severance? No real "reputational risk" for the "Good Hands" company since they won't be the ones doing the layoffs.

Everybody wins, right?

Did you not get paid for 11 years? Doesn't seem like a waste if you did

If you choose not to go to the vendor, you are choosing to quit and there will be NO severance..... We just had our meeting ..
Looks like my 11 years at Allstate was for nothing.
I will not go to the vendor to do claims...
Best of luck to you all.

Confirmation they are outsourcing to Mexico and Colombia for unlicensed. Unlicensed is going to claims and unlicensed leaders are being let go.

This company reaps what it sows. I have no problem giving 75% and just keeping my job in hopes of an "honorable discharge" with severance. This company can't support the toxic lying culture in place and have the audacity to expect 100% from the employees. Not going to happen and if you are giving 100% then you're a damn fool

Yes they do, that's why they are outsourcing it. Duh!

Who cares- the company doesn’t need that department.

I heard they are outsourcing unlicensed jobs to Mexico and other countries? Is this accurate?

They did massive layoffs in OCTOBER 2 years ago. The pattern is upsetting but not surprising. It's probably across the whole organization but that can't be revealed all at once. It must be a controlled plan so THEY get the support they need until it's no longer needed. Played like fiddles....then you're dead.

Considering CCC leaders have already been told the last few days I would say this is happening.

Good that they layoff these unskilled thieves that steal quotes from agents all day

Is it just CCC or any other departments being laid off?

This is freaky. Allstate is ridiculous! They can care less about their employees. Shame! I hope everyone drops their insurance and goes to Geico. F*** Allstate
