Ted is still there making $650K base/$4M total comp as "Strategic Advisor to the President, Worldwide Sales at OPEN TEXT CORP"? Wtf is that? And there already is a Head of Sales (Cione) and Head of EMEA Sales (McGourlay?)

How many people do they need to lay off to pay Ted this year for his non-job?

Here is the salary info for the executives.

https://www.salary.com/tools/executive-compensation-calculator/mark-j-barrenechea-salary-bonus-stock-options-for-open-text-corp?year=2023

You can select by year. In 2023, MB’s comp was $23,000,000. It’s down significantly mainly due to stock value, it also his “bonus.” The rich get richer and the rest get laid off.

Maybe this is the last opportunity for MB to have some fun and spend more money on useless things.
How bad does it have to get for the board to kick him out?????????
How much does he get paid? $$$$$$$
Yet, salary increases are almost non existent, layoffs everywhere....

Does no else notice?

Yikes! Just looked at the leadership page. What's going on? MarkB is way behind on his DEI objectives.
So many white men .... he promised and touted ad nauseam at least
Majority diverse workplace
50/50 gender parity within key roles
40% women in leadership positions at all management levels (I count 20% female senior leadership)
This should affect his bonus for sure. This should be more important than running the company into the ground.

Unfortunately, it's the management that needs training, not sales.

It is a training session for sales directors and above, to train them on how to lead their teams (basically sellers and presales) in a different way to improve results. There was an announcement for a new direct report to Todd Cione, and a replacement for the current Portfolio and Compliance leader.

It’s a leadership summit under Todd. Expensive, but we’ve known about this for weeks
