Will vacation be paid out or not?

In the HR townhall, they said the second wave would be similar to the first in timing, only spread out between August through October. If true, then the events would occur something like this, give a day here and here:
- In-scope notifications: August 1-5
- Open Positions: August 5-12
- Selection meetings: August 25-27
- Outcome notifications: August 28-30
- Transition period for those not selected September 1 - 28
Directly following the events, there will be an enterprise PDC for positions left unfilled.

Better to take a few long-weekend sojourns for intermittent wind-downs, spaced throughout the summer/fall, rather than one big extended trip. Could save money (which you'll need more of on hand should things change), and keeps you in the action if anything major goes down.

Town hall meeting says August to October. Such a long time period. I plan to travel in September, maybe I should cancel my trip.
