Way to go! It must be the uncertainty in the market. It can’t be the antiquated business model, the inept leadership or the politics that drive the best people away. The hyperscalers are growing double digits but that’s all just luck.

I am out on leave through the beginning of May and didn't get the email. Other than the "app weather team in the rain" spin, what was the video about?
Right? Isn't she lovely? I was going to send one back, su-k a lovely "coworker" 😆
Seriously tho, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to report spam since it came so early in the day. She works extra for all of us, the love, I tell ya'!
Re: But hey…… the random company wide email from Leahy Friday was so touching and warm…. Made me excited to be a subordinate under Leahy!

A few more:
- Lost lots of expertise and experience with layoffs (laid off the wrong people)
- No plans to replace lost expertise
- Spent money on acquisitions, but did not get the value from them
- Poor integrations of all the acquisitions

Leadership lost its focus. They thought they were smarter than the rest of the market and as long as they talked "digital transformation", "cloud", "AI", or the next big thing in tech, they didn't have to actually manage the core elements of the business.
They assumed hardware and software sales would be irrelevant and they could get by calling CDW a services provider. They forgot the services were to be additive to what we bring to market, rather than instead of.
Also, too many of the new leaders they have brought on over the last 3-5 years have been net negatives, rather than positive additions to the business.
If the leadership doesn't begin to hold itself accountable, we are all going to be looking for new jobs.
Despicable company to work for. No wonder they hire a bunch of coworkers from college. No offense but that's how you get people working for nothing and not question a peep.
Late to join the cloud train, late to join the AI train…. The company got too used to su-kling at the government teet and failed to innovate.
CDW stock was worth the same or more over two years ago. Insane how stagnant the company is. I cannot believe the board and major shareholders haven’t stepped in and replaced Leahy. No idea what value she’s driving for the business.
