It's started. Let's see what they have to say. Hopefully good questions will be answered.

I’m in an international BU and looks like 100% of my team will be gone.

So the same failed non-technical LT of TK, MA, KB, AM etc. with zero current tech. skills are going to make cvx IT leaders in AI. lmao I got a bridge to nowhere to sell.

If the overall headcount in IT is staying the same, that means the other functions will have to make up the difference to achieve the 15-20% overall reduction. I bet they didn’t see that coming.

Sooooo
"The number of people will remain the same. But, the number will be different between US and other locations". Got it. What?
Will US IT be dismantled almost completely.... by hiring replacements to the other 3 HUBs?

Do you think we will achieve AGI soon?

The information presented and the lack of transparency with the answers just makes people know there will be a lot of US job positions lost to the "ENGINE", formerly known as "US IT" but the Leadership Teams will remain to manage the MSP's and overseas employees.
Collect your contacts and other information e.g. R&A points, dental repairs, eye glasses and medical appointments completed before July 1st, 2025.
It's gonna be a blood bath!!!

LC looked like Dustin Hoffman in "Rain man" with his uncontrolled rocking back and forth motion. Definitely a body language indication he was not comfortable with the information he was saying or perhaps not telling the truth to us....

Now we see how easy it will be to fit everyone in the office 3 to 4 days a week by this summer

Was anything said about impact to international business unit IT?

LC said we’re cutting more than 15-20%. But he couldn’t give a number. Do they know themselves? Are they just cutting everything but enterprise solutions then seeing how the numbers shake out?

The most obvious thing is that you have the same leaders who failed us, STILL leading! That's the definition of insanity!

Luckily for everyone, there won’t be many RTEs and SMs and so there can be no more PI planning everywhere

@b5+1jnmfrv6q Ok, so by 2026 only 1,360 US jobs left. Holy sh-t!

Don’t tell me you care about us and want us to be at ease after you spent 75 minutes telling us you can’t share details with us that would help us know where we stand. They think we’re stupid.

Currently ~2,100 IT employees in US out of 3,400 (61%),

That’s what they’ve been saying about SAFE for years but then they still tell everyone we have to do what the RTE tells us and we still have to do PI planning and every other waste of time that comes with it.

  1. Welcome to Houston
  2. That’s if you even get a role. Sounds like a lot of US IT roles are going to Argentina, Begaluru, and Manila.

Does anyone know how many IT jobs we currently have in the US? LC said it’s definitely more than 20% being cut…

How can there still be “work to do” to finalize the design…

KB needs to teach her boss how to pronounce Buenos Aires. She at least can say it somewhat correctly. Should be a prerequisite for the FLT to be able to pronounce the location that will be bigger than Houston.

So what I’m hearing is that Les didn’t understand the post-transformation model so he’s just changing it back to what we had before that didn’t work - but with more people offshored, just like decades ago when we outsourced everything and it fell apart so we brought it all back in. What a joke.

i think PL dodging the question, coupled with his nervous ahhhh energy, signals that US IT is getting cut to the friggggin BONE. good lord

100000000 words to say nothing. The only news was the names on the org chart. TK, KB, CS staying in leadership roles and PL not answering the question of what % is US based today tells me all I need to know.
