Haha, that person is me! I stand by what I said, “pathetic if the company car keeps them at Mondelez” I’ve had a company car since I took my first job out of college. It’s a perk, but not one that should warrant anyone putting up with the abusive behaviors that are prolific throughout the organization! I’d rather ride the bus. All good though, I left and got myself a new car with lots more perks and was happy to pay for it. Leaving the toxic environment was a wonderful decision for me and everyone that knows me.
The average monthly cost of owning and operating a vehicle is around $1,015, considering all expenses including fuel, according to a study by AAA ¹. This breaks down into several key areas:
- Monthly Payments: Loan or lease payments for the vehicle
- Fuel Costs: Gasoline or electricity expenses for the vehicle
- Depreciation: Loss of value over time
- Maintenance and Repairs: Regular upkeep and unexpected fixes
- Insurance: Premiums for coverage
- Licensing and Registration: Fees for ownership and operation
Keep in mind that these costs can vary depending on factors like the type of vehicle, driving habits, and location.
I left Mondelez a year ago. I make more in a week than I did in a month with them. My wife still works for mondelez and I try to get her to quit everyday.
1000? Maybe $500.
To the person that said it's sad that a decision is made because of a extremely rare and over $1000 a month perk.
You're an a--hole and likely lonely and pathetic and seriously a part of the problem with our company and I'll bet anything horrible at your job
I have a Toyota Camry hybrid
You'd be surprised how many are lol. I get it tho free gas maintenance and insurance it is a nice perk
Good lord, I sure hope not! How sad would that be…..a Malibu? Come on now! And a most basic one at that! Must be desperate if that’s true?
