I always remember when a friend said "we just had one of those unplanned, unexpected layoffs" which occurred shortly after management told everyone there were no layoffs planned and none were expected in the near future.
This did not happen at L3Harris or any of its many predecessor companies but you can bet the same dynamic is at work.
Don't waste your time reading ANY corporate generated emails. If it doesn't come from your direct leadership at YOUR LOCATION, ignore it completely. Most of what comes from HQ is either irrelevant garbage, or an absolute lie. History should have taught us that by now.
If you're a newbie, don't stay long enough to get old here. DON'T DO IT.
Emails from corporate... delete on sight. Irrelevant and mostly lies anyway. Don't waste your time reading them. Fake news.
You will all be better off if you just deleted any emails from corporate. Your immediate supervisor or on site manager are the only ones with emails relevant to you. Emails from Ed Z., and Chris K., are just corporate propaganda anyway and mostly bullsh-t.
I stopped reading his emails a full year before I left the company back in 2023.
(I actually tried to block them but apparently you couldn't block internal emails.)
Delete on sight and you won't be exposed to his bullsh-t.

You believed that? I got hit in the previous one- moving divisions. They needed 10%. They did 6. Now there will be more.
And yeah there were plans back then... which is why some people were moved quietly.
I doubt Waco management is as bad as the CS management in Brevard FL here where HQ is. Our engineering director is garbage but hey at least she attends trade show conferences.
If they really wanted to increase performance they would fire Ed Zoiss!
If you want to see really bad management, come to Waco and hang out in engineering. That will be an eye-opener.
You can generally be sure that L3H leadership is lying to you when they make a verbal or written statement on basically any topic.

These were all localized. They just happened to be in a lot of locations. Splitting hairs and all. But did you really think you could trust management?
