Makes sense. Done destroying commercial profitability - time to move him on to another area. SMH.

Now being on the outside of State Farm, I'm realizing just how dysfunctional that place is. With a few exceptions, leaders don't care about you as a person anymore. You're a resource to get things done and there is no loyalty at all. True leadership is inspiring people toward a common goal and valuing them along the way. There are many companies out there that provide environments of caring and community, but State Farm is no longer one of them.

The guy who talks about someone else's wife reminds me of an auto field rep/now fire rep who is an ex alcoholic junkie. He'd never have the courage to talk like that outside of his computer because he couldn't handle the ramifications. Like so many at SF....all talk and no A$$ to back it up. Wannabe tough guys. So tough they need SF.

Hey scooter, yes my team is making over 30% more than they were in 2020 pre covid. It takes the better part of a year to license and train a team member on all the dog shhhit systems SF has, you try to retain them at all costs. I do in fact own my office full paid for, I was speaking in general terms. No get back to your cube.🖕

Rate increases and decreases are just what they are. Once your agency reaches a certain size, the higher production is not enough to overcome a rate decrease, and higher lapse/can is never enough to wipe out the rate increase. Because
competitors are doing their thing as well.
From 2017 to 2022, I took a big pay cut after 5 straight auto rate decreases. None of my expenses got lower, though.

Same idi-t agent that starts everything off with hey scooter! LOL! Yes and when the company lower rates you become more competitive and get to write more new business, grow your book and lapse/cancellation goes down. When rates go up it does create some lapse/can but still a huge win for the agent. We used to have a term for agent's that complained about rate increases...we called them liars! So you want us to believe that you are paying your employees 27% more? LOL! Your rent went up ???...that let's me know you are a useless agent...if you had any business sense you would own your building or strip center and rent out other spaces and produce income like I did! Calls ha ha ha!!! You and front desk "Sally" would last about 10 minutes in any operation environment. You are obviously clueless as demonstrated!

Hey scooter, you don’t see agents on here complaining when the company wants to increase market share and cuts rates 10% resulting in a 10% decrease in agent income. Has agent income increased over the last couple years, yes. So have our staffing costs, rent ect. Careful what you wish for, you think you are overworked now? Try handling the call volume agents take. Now craw back to your cube.

SF service and claims su-ks! If you try to do something on-line it just send you to an agent and then takes a month to process. The employees we are hiring have no skills and better suited for confirming you want to super size your order with no pickles! The agents are useless lazy re-ards just collecting a commission check. The average agent over the last two years have gotten a $100k pay raise for just breathing! They could care less. Our Execs just say more huddles, 1x1s, or SXS will fix the problem, ohhh...I forgot, learn how to do hard! That is code for work the ever living loving sh-t out of you, so we can get a bigger SMIP. Hard only applies to you, not them! Just a cover for the complete lack of a plan as SF is in trouble and its business model is an absolute relic of the 70s and 80s. There will be no more glory days for SF and probably time for it to join the ranks of Sears, Kmart, Kodak, Nokia, Blockbuster, Circuit City, Enron, Lehman Brothers, Tower Records, Pan Am, Compaq, Radio Shack, ...exactly what they deserve! SF is a dumpster fire!

You’ve clearly never had an agent contract if you think they have no accountability. SF controls everything you do, while constantly disclaiming any responsibility and reminding everybody, all the time, in writing, that the agent is on their own. They also control everything you can do either staff…..while avoiding any legal responsibility.
Agents are always hanging out on a limb. And State Farm is hovering with a chainsaw in case you make them look bad.

State Farm is setup like the mob! CA-CS-TM-SM all have claim authority....the CM, Consultant, VP, OVP, SVP, EVP, CEO.....have no claim authority! Not to mention the lawyers and SF Agents..... They layer themselves from any responsibility/accountability and then can blame everyone down the chain of command! Think about it, 9 layers that get to basically deny everything....worst thing for an agent is they might loose a commission on a customer, but they all really have no other accountability. Useless and a scam! You can easily tell that the Exec recorded was just repeating what has been said at every upper Exec meeting and shows their horrible corrupt mindset. These people are sc-m of the earth, it is why they are in the positions they are in and sold their soul a long time ago! You are disposable trash to them! Never forget that!!!!

I am so happy they exposed how pompous and arrogant SF is to the core especially when a lot of people lost their homes. Instead of saying cancel the policies, they had no ba--s to talk to the elected official and try to resolve by other means besides raising rates only. Don't sell me good neighbor sht when all you care about is me, myself and my bullsht! It's finally coming out in the open how they feel about the customer and their employees. Agents are just as pompous as this jack a-s. They all should be brought before a court clerk in deposition and a jury to show their neighbors who they really are. Values and ethics create wealth. Lies and stealing destroys wealth. We need to see it with SF just like we are seeing it in Government. Shame on them.

If the average everyday employee knew the values, ethics and morals of senior leadership, they sure wouldn't buy into what they are selling. In this video, do you trust the VP? His non verbal makes it obvious. This is rampant at the executive and consultant levels. As one of my contacts once said: They can look at you right in the eyes and lie. They want nothing to do with people who tell the truth. Everything at their level is image and has zero to do with work ethic. They consider themselves better than you because of the money they make. This is a good start at exposing them. More needs to be done.

I just wish the FBI and DOJ would investigate SF! Some of the things SF is involved in isn't only civil liability but I believe criminal. I strongly believe and know we have criminals in high positions and in leadership. Making life difficult for any employee to leave is unethical.

SF leadership is a weak bully in a fight. They operate in a dictatorship manner. If anyone expresses an opinion that may differ from them, you are terminated. That is the heart of SF issues. Sometimes chaos brings out the best in us. They fear any differing opinions instead of welcoming them. This post is an example of that. It is expressing a hidden policy formed in college but not applicable in the real world. SF needs to go back to what once made it successful.

SF is no longer a respectful company. Ever since they took away the employee benefits, they got exactly what they asked for. SF.... you get what you pay for! Nobody gets something for nothing. Don't sell me a gourmet meal then throw a Micky Ds in front of me.

This started at SF long ago. Their political twist on everything since the early 1990s has run the company to the ground and it appears they are speeding up the process by their policy decisions. Poor guy takes the fall for regurgitation of his leadership. Sad part is they will lie and deny the truth even in litigation. SF is well known for these behaviors. A good neighbor is not a thief, liar nor sneak.
