Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

the connect between management and staff is gone

I have spent the last 16 years working for big companies, and not one of them had such a massive gap between leadership and the people actually doing the real work. the disconnect is staggering... it is like they live in a different world entirely.

There should be a program where they are required to step into our shoes for at least a month. Let them feel the pressure and the frustration first hand. Maybe then they would finaly understand how unrealistic their expectations are!

if they saw what we deal with every day, maybe they would change things. but they will never bother to try...
