How does ELT expect finance to do more when many will have no box? Our pmp includes the need to support our jobs giveaway. I was pretty appalled by how poorly handled that was. There are clearly things they know that they aren't saying, like the timeline for the Houston relocation and the end state number of finance employees. I feel like we are being treated like children. If the goal was to undermine our confidence in Chevrons once stellar finance department and convince us to look for a future outside the company, well it worked.
What about RBU Finance?
Basically nothing revealed and nothing useful. Amazing how unclear she is given the timeline. Being in Finance has no future. Move most tasks to shared service, except ELT, what kind of roles do they want the incountry Finance to play? Consultation overview roles? When you do not know the basic process flows, you won't be able to build the OC which many possess but will be let go.
