Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

I cannot wait for the fallout of this reorg. They have the same incompetent people who got us here by hiring other like minded simpletons to represent and restructure everything. It’s really sad but it’s the only way they’re going to learn is by more failure. Moving more responsibility to the IOCs what a joke, everyone knows they’re washed up FSAs who couldn’t hack it in the field and a parasite to the organization. Anyone can literally run that console with how little is expected of them. Don’t get me started on our “Engineering Department” they can’t even do simple ISOs of an airline to save their career. An over staffed inefficient HSE department that has a lot of fat to be trimmed. L&D is useless, not a single Field Specialist can say they added any value to their career. Everything is taught in the field. The Central Maintenance Hub, another joke. If they were their own company they’d be out of business, oh wait is that why they’re finally being dissolved in the new reorg. Are we to expect all these individuals who are on special assignment and signed NDAs are SMEs in their respective areas to evaluate our workflows? Absolutely not. I know a handful of them and not a single one has landed that position because of their experience. They’ve been gifted those roles because of their friendship with the PDRs. It’s no wonder the common consensus is this reorg has been a sh-tshow. When this all fails again and Exxon beats us let’s see if their accountability speech comes to fruition
