Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

IT Townhall Q&A

Can somebody please ask LC these questions on everybody’s mind on why his exec advisor KG has 100 E&Y “consultants” with the exact same background from GM, HP, Dell at the exact same times as LC.

If all of these people quit GM at the same time… why? Is it just a bit sketchy that Chevron is paying E&Y for consulting services to get us through this reorg, but all they’re doing is being a shell of a company for LC to bring in his friends?

Do we really think that GM has a superior IT department than Chevron? If so, why does he need to hire them through E&Y? Why not just go through Vendor Pass like his old buddy KG?

Did anybody ask why he didn’t just put in KG in the IT Ops job instead of saying RS will retire later?

How about all those GM consultants posing as EY?

Well, first town hall ended. Maybe in the second one someone with some big cajones can ask who the fu€3 KG is and what are all those GM people disguising as EY doing under him.

Does the Chevron hotline work for a C-suite?

Bunch of softball questions. No one asked about LC’s character and ethics

Really dum questions being answered right now.

LC talks about Chevron way. What a joke.

Yes, EY is helping to staff up India, but half the guys under KG are all Austin-based former General Motors senior IT people, ready to pounce.

Under KG, what it looks like is a regular EY account team (EY manager, and their analysts straight out of from school doing grunt work), plus the hand-selected former Walmart, Dell, HP, GM people that LC is seemingly hooking up with nice consulting gigs, or contract to hire gigs.

Vendor Pass is just a 1099 payroll company.
EY is for backfilling Chevron IT with guys in India named Su-kdeep and Manmeet from EY and then transfer them to Chevron as part of their BOT (Build Operate Transfer) strategy followed by collapse given that anything built in India is doomed to fail.

Based on what metric? Number of toys they have in the most complex IT system ever? Number of data privacy incidents?

If you look at the EY consultants under KG about half of them are Indian names too. I wonder how many jobs they’re pushing to send back to their friends and relatives in Bangalore.

GMs IT department, to be sure, is better than Chevron’s. That all happened after LC left though

Wow, glad that AEOI was submitted this week because this is super shady.

How does the ELT allow this?

Do a little bit of homework and recognize that you don’t want a bunch of GM IT guys securing your stuff. They’re not even done with the case that these guys left behind!!!. lol
