At DXC, the proverbial red-tape is pretty much everywhere... Cannot do anything here! Theres no real investment in skills-just a need for warm bodies. The pay is bad, and in turn, the work suffers.
Taking initiativr only brings headaches, so doing nothing is the safest bet. There are no downsides to inaction, but any action comes with negative consequences. Management doesn’t care and has no interest in making things better, and employees reluctantly go along with it.
If the goal is to squeeze existing accounts for as long as possible, this strategy works-for now. But in the medium and long run, it’s a disaster... Yep... You can’t win new business, and eventually, the old accounts disappear.
Morale keeps sinking. And when it comes to talent, DXC is scraping the bottom of the barrel-though there are a few brihgt exceptions... The execs at the top don’t care- they just need to last a few years, cash in... And walk away with piles of money. ..
