I'm this close to quitting without a job lined up

That's how tired I'm of this. I swear, if this whole thing isn't resolved by the end of this month, I'll most likely end up doing just that.

The goal is to be able to capture severance benefits upon leaving. Keeping HR from offering you an unwanted job with an unwanted relocation is the obstacle. I suspect they'll do that as a strategy to ensure severance payments are minimized.
