Agreed, I regularly find myself timing how long I have to wait on my computer, accessing systems of record, waiting on PDFs to OCR, running analysis, etc.
Our machines are underpowered and overloaded by cyber security software. Software that itself violates best practices and has compromised our data (e.g. SolarWinds).
It drives me insane that Digital, a word that simply means a signal in zeroes and ones is now a corporate buzzword - using it demonstrates you don't know the basics about computing.
Meanwhile, after a decade, they finally "fixed" the RSI guard so you can't skip breaks - there's another half hour of lost productivity each day. The implementation isn't even backed up by research, the studies do not support the frustrating 8 second breaks.

Yea gaslit by Tech bafoons. Also Please help to install Excel from 20 years ago. This thing is bloatware now and has not aged gracefully. I'm old, but I'm now faster than my puter. Stop getting cosy with Microsoft MW and listening to your "AI" gurus - do some critical thinking.
