Lumen is most likely getting closer regarding finalizing a deal selling off assets associated with Project Yellowstone according to rumors. In addition, Lumen just started labor contract talks with IBEW Local 206.

Don’t know about the Yellowstone deal. Thought that was a few years ago. But if they want to sell mass markets by year end it would be an advantage to finalize a new contract extension beforehand. Just my opinion but if a new contract is settled this year I’d think a sale is close. If the company is content on running it out til next spring before getting serious then there’s probably not a buyer waiting in the wings
There's no chatter online. The stock is flat, so seems like BS news.
