BC Retail in Jeopardy

The changes to BC LCFS legislation just made being a retailer in BC for Petro-Canada much more difficult. Too bad Freddie’s tunnel vision couldn’t see the “light at the end of the tunnel” was a train. Cancelling energy transition projects in Downstream and firing the employees may not look like such a great idea in hindsight.

@1dw+1jnbqgwnp there's only so many refiners and terminals in Canada, you probably get some PCan gas no matter how hard you try. I agree though and will not give them my retail business.

No worries downstream … there is a new Commercial Optimization Specialist on the team. He is certainly no DEI hire … on no … he did wonders for the refineries in OMT.

I’ve boycotted Petro-Canada myself and encouraged all my friends and family to do the same. We no longer gas up or associate to any Petro-Canada and we are in Alberta. I will never buy gas from Petro-Canada again for the rest of my life. Also if I don’t know what refinery the gasoline is from at a gas station I won’t gas there either as it’s possible it’s from Petro-Canada. I just gas up at places I know for sure where the gas is refined from that I know there is a refinery nearby… so I’ll gas up at Shell, Co-Op, Husky, and Esso.
