MacFarlane is probably glad to be rid of WB who think their properties demand such high margins but will never generate the sales they all are imagining in their heads i'm sure the matty heads stroked geoff johns ego in the back room with promises of more limited edition amanda wallers than you can shake a stick at. although i'm pretty sure folks at the ranch will be able to top pron-gate faster than you can say snyderverse. oops did the matty fanboys mess in their cavill cod pieces? excelsior! oh wait thats the other old dude....

I've seen some awesome projects in the days when we used to have DC. Only to have them dropped because no retailer was d-mb enough to think that no matter cool a feature was, there's a price people won't pay more for a superhero at mass. And this was back when things were relatively good. Fast forward to today where marvel is literally po----g the bed in sales and Star Wars is barely a meh. Face it getting DC is a strategic move to boost the stock. It will barely add to the bottom line after all the mg's. WB just wants their mg and maybe some employee comicon passes.
90% of the line will be Batman. And then the nerd boys will want to make their 90 point articulation action figures only to be cost reduced to a sad Ken wannabe who wears their underpants over their trousers. But don't forget to sculpt in that bulge boys!
DC was never a good seller. Those days died with Kenner. All of the cr-p we produced wound up being peg warmers at best but Mattel had SN who was so excited to get his nerd on with magazines like he was the saviour of action figures. This is just another move to make shareholders and future investors excited for a hot minute. A month after the new cr-p is released the hype will be gone.
superheroes won't save ya from a lay-off
