7% in the next two weeks or 12% on 1st April? Or are there other rumors too? I mean, there will be layoffs before the next Q report, but it would be great to have reliable information. The job market is terrible. We all are on the edge as it is.

Looks like this was the right layoff post. Unclear of overall impact but it was a lot.
The reddit guy confirmed it's next week but didn't say much other than that. I do know HR has been busy lately.

with a company as large as oracle layoffs are inevitable. Quite honestly... unless you are under-performing on purpose (sounds silly right) then don't worry... because layoffs are completely outside your control. As a former employee... i hated the complacent people on my team i gtfo... but as long are just above the water line you should be fine... plenty of complacent boomers and inexperienced youngin's that get cut first. Integrity and personal brand is key!
This site is full of doom spreaders. Of all the posts I've seen saying "omg layoffs coming soon!!!!" Only one of them was right
