What companies can you not work for within a year of separation to void severance? It makes sense that you cannot work directly for Chevron or as a green badge contractor. But if you're technical in Houston, most of the skillets transfer to competitors, EPC contractors, and suppliers. If we cannot work for a company that has any relationship with Chevron that means we cannot work for a whole year. That would ruin people. In that case, they should have given a much larger severance, since that would really hurt young American families with kids and financial responsibilities.

Did you actually read the links? All of the questions are there.
AEOI Button smashed!
@am+1 Since DJT is now totally aligned with Putin, I assume Americans will be welcomed in Russia.
Possible overseas opportunities in the news today. "US intel shows Russia and China are attempting to recruit disgruntled federal employees". Maybe they will expand this program to other companies like CVX who are laying-off large numbers of US citizens. It can't be any worse than the way the US is headed.
The 1st acknowledgement bullet states “I would like to be separated (laid off) from the company so as to be potentially eligible for severance pay…”
When would you find out if you are eligible for severance? Is this a notice if you are not accepted for AEOI?
Seems a bit confusing.
“no one is authorized to ask or pressure anyone to submit an AEOI”. someone needs to tell my manager that. They are trying to get others to take the AEOI so they have a better chance at being placed in the new org.
ONLY IT FOLKS THAT I HAVE TALKED TO GETTING IT RIGHT NOW
