I’m overworked and increasingly frustrated. I’ve invested so much time and energy, fully aware that it would never pay off. All I’ve been working toward is the hope of keeping my job. Yet, we all know that performance and dedication aren’t what determine who gets booted. I’m just tired of trying to stay on.

OP, i'm with you. Now, they want to change the culture to being "decisive and direct". Which i think is fine to some degree. What mental damage would that do to introverted leaders?.. i like my boss he has a quiet strength but has the ability to connect and be empathetic, without being loud. Taking the time to understand and make the best decision for people and department goals doesn't make one a weak leader. We still need empaths!
They want you to believe this is the best it gets….heard from many who have left…and guess what…??? It’s a fallacy! The grass IS GREENER! Smash that button. I hope they regret taking their Human Energy for granted.
It is difficult being unemployed from one of the highest paying jobs you will hold and a benefit package second to none. This is the cycle of technology and the industry. Good luck to all.
Uncertainty is always a challenge. I find that the folks who have a positive mindset and who make their managers job easier and are seen as a change advocate generally do well.
Let your manager know what roles you are interested in and ask them what you can do for them.
Be the first in updating your talent card, do the training and make the transition a success to give yourself the most opportunities.
The internal support resources are pretty good check those out and leverage the bits that resonate with you.
Wishing you all the best and stay positive!
I think it was and is the executives and chairmen, presidents, vice presidents... all at that level that sank this once great company in its industry! Middle mgmt had nothing to do with this. They just need a scapegoat -- us low level PSGs !!
@ae+1jn56p35t Amen. As soon as we all realize leadership doesn’t care about their employees the better off we will be. I’ve stopped being mad or shocked at the ineptitude of this company. I no longer expect to be respected as a loyal, educated partner in furthering the company we once were. Leadership is against us and don’t care what they do to destroy us in their plans.
I’m in the same 🚤, loved the job but the incompetence in middle and senior management breeds mediocrity in every level. The ✍️ is on the wall ☠️
If I stay, I will be delighted to still have a pay check, but my heart won’t be in it like it once was. If I go, I will not miss my leadership in the slightest. But I will miss the talented people I work with who do their best to make this dumpster fire work. 🔥
To our leaders, this operation somehow works in spite of you, not because of you.
If you are being truthful and really working that hard, honestly, you may be the only one they should and will keep, so no worries, lol
AEOI’s are going to be so numerous! You are all safe
Hang in there... breathe in.. breathe out...
Smash that AEOI button when it goes live tomorrow
I give zero fu--s. Come take it clowns. At this point I’m coasting until that EOI. But so is my boss, so no one cares…
So ummmmm quit. Ain’t nobody stopping you and in fact, if you quit, you would help somebody else keep their job who actually wants it.
