Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

3.5 %

Wow, a whopping 3.5% raise. Great timing, considering last week’s meeting was all about profits, off the backs of employees, of course. What a slap in the face. Decision made by some director whos never even met my department and isn’t even on the Alls**t side. But hey, at least they made sure to highlight a completely unrealistic salary range too.

Such a gracious/s merit increase doesn’t even consider inflation. And those bonuses they crowed about a few years ago if we peons meet goals? Gone. After dangling that carrot, they conveniently “retired” the program before having to pay up. Bet the execs still got their bonuses.

Funny how inflation justifies premium hikes over and over and over, but not fair pay. The only thing Alls**t has going for it at this point is WFH—but even thats on borrowed time before jobs get shipped overseas.

5% because of where I’m at in the band.Lowest paid on my team due to tenure but have the most piled on my plate because “I’ll do it the right way”.

To the loser who retired three years ago you didn’t say goodbye to the company if you are still hanging around this dump latching on to the latest gossip. Stop boasting about retiring and leaving if you clearly can’t let go. Move on and get a life for your own sake.

0% here. I retired 3 years ago and my advice is to get out as soon as you can because it is so worth saying goodbye to all the shortcomings of Allstate.

3% for me, thanks to a random director who has zero insight into what I do ignoring the recommendations from my manager and his manager about scores and potential promotions.

However, over the past few years, they've increased my responsibilities by probably 40% due to this org flattening. On-call support? Production support? Dev ops? Testing? I now have to do it all, but deliver more, quicker.

2% here, and , like usual, acted like they did me some huge favor and fought for it

Yet they are demanding 25% more in production. Naw, you gettin 2% more.

Raise is more dependent on where you are in the band rather than performance. We all know everyone got “expected” for performance.

I remember when Allstate started talking about those “bonuses” and the laughs that the leaders had at the time, knowing they would never pay out. The good old days!
