Who cares if they included their salary? I’m sure it was sarcastic in nature given our much we bash the million dollar earners

Take the site for what it is. It's gossip. Anyone can contribute from any perspective. Sometimes gossip ends up being true, sometimes not.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but someone telling you about RIFs on a RIF site, regardless of income, is what you came for. Someone making 200k isn't the enemy. Even that salary is a drop in the bucket compared to some SVPs, VPs and senior leaders.

if it is someone who even still works here. Info gets leaked very easily and there are plenty of people who have been laid off and hate this company who are friends with people who still work here that they gossip with. I for one enjoy the schtick, that’s what it seemed like to me. Not sure how someone would get “caught” on this site short of admitting to someone they were posting confidential info here. That’s kinda the point of the site.
