Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

CIO that can't be put in front of regulators

So let me understand Robin and Dermot's hiring plan for senior exeutives

Hire a CIO, Leigh-ann with a scandelous past at BP. Has no real CIO skills and can't be allowed to talk to the regulators. She flies around the world and doesn't do an ounce of real work with their joke of a CFO, who is terrible. BTW CFO is another con artist.

Robin has conned the world to think that there is a real strategy here. Is this a soap opera or a real firm.

I thought the same thing OP, are you sure you have the right company? U.S. Bank isn’t really a global company, so flying around the world doesn’t make sense.

Totally agree on AI CoE, talk talk talk, no results, they never developed any products or no engineering experience, useless team honestly.

The AI COE is a complete disaster. The new head is alienating everyone (telling Data Scientists they are worthless basically) and has no real strategy. The compliance team led by TW is antagonistic with no understanding of AI. And, the CRO is also antagonistic and enabling a toxic environment. Everyone is miserable and what could have been amazing is now destroyed, Glad I left to go to another product team last month.
