ELT needs to feel the pain since they are not taking any accountability for their actions. They expect us to deal with this mess they have created and give 110%. No way! Cut your effort to bare minimum.

Path to career advancement in the new org would be low. If not, double the toll of work. If you're in the US and your team is India guess who would adjust in the timezone... not gonna be US folks! Becoz ENGINE would be the priority, all eyes on Bengaluru to make this new org work. "accountability" is the new buzz word. Accountability 1.0
Don’t do just the bare minimum, throw a lit match at everything you can
IT here. Been through major reorgs in this company. Survived every time however this one looks to be huge! More impactful. Sadly, I think our function will be hit hard with most IT jobs offshored. I thought we were already lean and winning from the so-called Transformation. Where the work gets done to low cost regions is not the solution. Culture wasn't the issue either. Missed visions and strategies from leaders seem to be the real root cause! They just call it "accountability". No vision here, the company is sinking. Can't wait to see how the offshored roles will play out. Big mistake.
It's Chevron. If you're giving 110%, you're doing it wrong.
He-l, most of the crowd struggles to put in an honest 20 hour week.
That sort of inevitable due to how big a distraction this whole mess is.
And you wonder why they need to cut people, lol
I’ve been at a near minimum for 2 years. No one has noticed…still getting EEs and nice raises….
Right then when ENGINE starts up it’ll make them look better compared to the zero effort now being given in the US. GOOD PLAN
