Yes I was fired today for this reason. Talked to colleague when I dropped stuff off. The reason they are hiring so many new people in departments, is so they can fire people that have not been meeting policy. Jsut bc you have been getting away with something does not mean they aren’t out to get you. They also track ip address to see how long you work at office

Sure, but that’s not the debate. The company has a policy about the amount of days you can work from home. Don’t like it, work somewhere else. Maybe get better at your job and become senior enough to suggest a change. But there are real talks amongst senior mgmt about getting rid of the hybrid schedule all together, precisely because people are abusing it.

If you are knowingly, and purposefully, violating company policy should you really be surprised or even upset when that eventually doesn’t end well for you in some way? Crazy how the vast majority of people do what is expected and then it gets ruined by people like you who think the rules don’t apply.

Be careful if you have a license they will put a bad mark if you are termed for cause. But no I haven’t heard of firings.
