Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Why no information on EB and finance?

So where is EB and her finance team? All moving to service centers?

It speaks volumes there is a BA EB town hall before even addressing the US or organization as a whole

They will announce her as next CEO once the bloodbath is done so she looks clean coming out of it.

Controllers, Tax, and Treasury are all cutting 30% in the US and many positions based in SR are moving to BA.

Finance (FSS) had a slide deck presented to them in December with an overview of the staffing changes. One of the slides states, "US FSS roles will decrease by ~60%" another bullet states, "Most ... reductions will take place in 2025". I wrote this in previous posts but maybe the HR rep who monitors the Layoff website had the post taken down. We will know for sure, if this post is taken down again.

Finance also went through a reorg and headcount reductions in 2024…so their group might not be front and center for some of the 2025 layoffs

Finance is always late to the party. Always the last to know anything. Sometimes that’s a good thing and sometimes not.
