Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

BP also in "green" trouble

Compare and contrast Chevron with BP and Exxon's "transitions". Remember before MW took over how JW implicitly stated that Chevron was in the oil and gas business 'for decades to come', and how he wasn't worried about (investing in) alternative energy as long as oil and gas remains the dominant energy source for the world 'for decades to come'.

The greenwashing boondoggle is still a waste of money. Even if you have a buffoon running CNE, it’s a waste. Everyone involved should be branded as traitors and blackballed from the industry.

Don't worry. With JG in charge nothing impactful will happen so no damage will be done. There is reason they put fly weights to lead initiatives that are purely optics.
