Gainwell loves a disconnected and chaotic workforce

It is my belief that the title of this post is a true statement. Regardless of whatever motivation individuals may had to make it so.

My challenge to you is to prove or disprove the validity of the title.

A few people were taken in by the the snake oil salesman. Promises made by individuals that couldn't deliver and knew it from the beginning. Unfortunately the damage is done and my distain for them will linger forever.

I feel bad for all my friends who are still there dealing with the chaos, whether at the state or shared service level. It became clear to me over time that Veritas wasn't buying what the incumbent managers were selling. The covers were getting lifted as clients started complaining to Gainwell executives and go to green plans were launched in a lot of places. There was complacency due to people being told by their bosses they just had to follow the contract because their jobs could not be sent offshore. Well, SURPRISE! If Veritas can, they will offshore your job. It's crunch time for Gainwell to show Veritas they can provide value in its current form or get parted off like an old car.

I'm relegated to be nothing more than an administrative assistant despite being engineer with other companies. Even the Indians are treated better and with more respect.

By the end of the day it's hard to come out of the servant mindset and thinking to myself, I hope the mister was happy with me today. I don't wanna get no tongue lashing or indirect derogatory tomorrow.

VPs and Directors do not have much to do - they have todo some nonsensical work to self justify their huge paychecks with huge $$$

This place is so bad. I tried to make a humorous joke regarding an email that came across about NTT's annual review.

My statement was to the effect, how time flies. It only feels like we've been with NTT for little over a month. Someone had to teach or preach how about we wouldn't be part if that review. Like I lacked the common sense to have already figured that one out.

It's constant. Depending on who you are, You may get away with stating an opinion without another person trying to correct you. And I'm not talking about simple banter back and forth. It's someone trying to literally correct or exert their authority as a superior on everything you say

I haven't seen that type of behavior since high school where you had someone trying to be the teacher's pet.
