AT&T is a “tele-communications” company whose business is to connect people in different locations.
Yet you must RTO so you can take online meetings from the office with someone else who’s in another office. Where is the logic?

Stink is just like Trump, drawn to always make the wrong decision even when better, more obvious ones are right in front of them.
If you speak out in support of RTO, just know you will be branded a fool. It’s a game and you’re a pawn.
RTO successfully cut my hours back about 20 hours per week. 8 and skate instead of the usual 10-12. Oh well, I’ll take the extra time back.
RTO is so you actually work. Let other people tele-commute from the golf course and the tennis courts while paying AT&T for telecom services. Win-win.
I much more productive in the office!
goes against the age-old business paradigm "Ya gotta eat your own dog food"

Trump knows a thing or two about golfing when he should be working.
Rules for thee, none for me...
“Countless mergers and acquisitions, constant reshuffling of people and moving them across different teams took its toll. Does anybody with sound mind thinks it will work?”
It’s not supposed to work. Everything is in a transitional state right now. You and your team are either a work group of resources to be leveraged long-term, or you’ve been set aside for near term termination. If others on your team are not highly skilled or are in the wrong location, you will not be here for long.
Don’t mind coming to the office, but don’t see how we can work together as a team after so many years of being spread apart in different parts of the world. Countless mergers and acquisitions, constant reshuffling of people and moving them across different teams took its toll. Does anybody with sound mind thinks it will work?
That is not the only paradox. Remember, we are coming back into the office to collaborate and provide mentorship to the younger workers. However, the Stank also told us that he does not want the older employees . . . he is doing everything he can to drive them out.
" I go to Lenox (Atlanta office) and I am more productive every day than when I was working from home."
Wow -- you would admit that?! You are the employee that should be targeted for termination, not celebrated for compliancy. You're exactly the type of employee that good companies get rid of. You are only productive under the thumb of your supervisor. BTW, the Lenox offices have been open and available for about 4 years. You could have come in on your own, but you chose to stay home and be unproductive. That says so much about you. You could not adjust to your environment, and you want to celebrate that?
As President Trump says if you want to work from home, you can. Just not on government payroll. Same applies here, if you want to work for home, go work for those few companies still offering work from home or hybrid. America is about productivity and hard work. Those that don't want to work, feel free to go to some Euro country (Even Mexicans won't take you).
Big John policies have resulted in AT&T stock being up 17% this year compared to 2.5% for S&P 500. This is after AT&T stock outperformed S&P 500 in 2024 36% for AT&T vs. 22% for S&P 500. Company is doing something right and we are not changing course.
I am proud to work for AT&T. I go to Lenox (Atlanta office) and I am more productive every day than when I was working from home. I get a great bonus. Benefits and a generous 401K. Plenty of money in my 401k Account and a very healthy savings account. In five year I pay my home off, and I am only 42. In this economy. What more can I expect? Only lazy people want to work from home.
As our president Trump says, these work from home yahoos want to play golf and have a second job. In fact all the virtuals/TW designation should be checked whether they have another source of income. Check their tax returns. If they do, fire them.
I am GRATEFUL to Big John for his leadership, reducing debt, bringing employees to office to work together again, focusing on wireless and broadband connectivity, selling copper and real estate. The future is BRIGHT and market is rewarding AT&T. Buy T Stock (remember the generous dividend and stock buybacks coming soon), not to mention more Federal Tax breaks for us to reward our shareholders and invest. I am so thankful.
BS. This is conflicting, half-baked, baboonery jive talk
T helped create the infrastructure for remote connections but too many employees started taking advantage and were only putting in effort 3-5 hours per day. Industry leadership had no choice but to raise standards
