Severance packages

Hello everyone,

For those who have been laid off, I'm curious about your severance package details. For instance, did you receive a set number of weeks of pay per year of service (like 1–2 weeks per year), or was it structured as a flat amount, such as six months' pay? Additionally, did your package include benefits like continued health insurance coverage? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Years of service equals x number of weeks. Benefits ended the end of the month of your official last day. And the insurance through cobra was insanely expensive.

Benefits cease, but health insurance is available to you for 18 months through COBRA - a federal act. You pay the full premium plus a small administrative fee.

It's based on years of service and is available on Pulse
