AI vs RI

How about showing some Real Intelligence and start treating your employees as people not cattle?
The people who actually do the work? The people who build and support the products? The people who allow you to keep paying the dividends to the glorious investors?

You need to start traveling on your healing journey to get out of the company.

It's not going to happen under the current leadership. You are seen as just a "resource" not only for production but also one that can be tapped for stealing out of your paycheck when money for the dividend becomes tough to find. Act accordingly. The only thing to do is find a different company to work for if possible and under age 45. If older when you have to face age discrimination in the job market you might consider quiet quitting, or doing only exactly what is asked and needed and no more. Some ideas to quiet quit for you. Start with useless meetings. Any meetings where you are always just "listening" and not on the agenda you should at least attempt to stop attending. This can start as a fade way, or only attending every other meeting. Of course, this includes all corporate, VP, and director "update" meetings which you should always skip. If you don't need the info to do your job tasks then skip it. If your manager doesn't get back to you and require you to attend you just saved hours of time a day. Any meeting where you need to present or use the information for your job then you have to keep going unfortunately. For emails, get in the habit of quickly scanning the topic and who is addressed and archive/delete immediately without reading if its info only and you have no action to do from it. Never sign into work at night or accept work texts or calls unless you are required formally to be on call 24/7 or required to attend a night call to do your job. Just a few examples of how to act accordingly...so act accordingly.
