A friend told me they've been at Nationwide HQ in Columbus 22 years and their whole team was given notice yesterday they are being laid off. Now they are scurrying to find affordable healthcare. They are in their early 60s and still need to work, but afraid ageism will be an issue despite their experience. I'm looking at my company to see if I can give them some leads. Cobra is running around $1450 per person and they will have to cover their spouse too! Unreal what is happening around the country in all industries. Good luck to all.

I was laid off along with all the other 60 plus employees in 2018 in Denver. It started with all my work taken away. I shiwed up every day, and help all those who needed help and read a book for two years. When my last day came, the severance plan read, if you seek a lawsuit, you will have to pay back all your severance. So much for dedication to a company for 15 years. This is how they operate.
Adding to the requests. Let’s include some details when posting about layoffs. Otherwise it’s just a rumor and doesn’t provide much assistance to the rest of us. Thank you
