"45 million. sounds like a great strategy for him"

It's a ridiculously easy strategy! Isn't it? At the same time, cut bonuses, reduce salaries and cut all education services. Next, send the annual "anonymous" survey and ask employees if they feel they "belong" and are ready to "go above and beyond". Comedy!

Stock buy-back is king at f5. Cut assets where they complain and are expensive; install folks willing to enslave themselves to the company fascist paradigm; and ride the buy-backs until it implodes. McKinseyism at its finest.

"I find the methods FLD used sick."

Because the system is sick. Sick system requires sick methods.

You must be kidding "wealth creating genius"! Everyone can layoff people and manipulate bonuses to "create" numbers.

How about that stock price though? You gotta give it to FLD, he is a wealth creating genius for getting FFIV stock price up so high that it brought the entire NASDAQ up with it. It's only "macro factors" when it's down folks.

The difference is Edison knew what he was doing and what he wanted.
