Really starting to feel better about things here. Lots to feel good about. Just need to stick together and stay positive.

Call Anne b then, that’s what they’re there.
Im not a liberal and im not woke… thats a great dig at me tho!!! My pronouns are her/she and i was born with female parts!!! I love how im assumed to be liberal because i said my mental health suffers due to my employer! I am one person and when the expectation changes every 5 minutes or the rules that apply to me are different than those for others it’s get a bit frustrating… not because I don’t understand but because I’m one person and there’s only 8 hours in a work day. Nice assumption tho!!!
Mental health? Sound like a lib. What are your pronouns?
If you've been looking why don't you have one yet ? I'm sure pay would be 2x what you make there. Not sure what skills you do or don't have but I'd they are some desired skills you'd be gone already at a new job.
Who said I wasn’t looking? And yes I’m waiting on the hammer to drop. There is always gonna be a job where I’m at.
You say that like your proud. Instead of waiting for the hammer to drop why not start looking for a new job? Market is only gonna get worse the longer you wait. You're doing yourself a disadvantage by not being proactive and looking now.
Let the good times roll! I can’t wait to walk out with a smile! It will be like getting rid of an abusive partner after 20 years of getting beat!
It will be the best day of my life! Mind ya business I’m holding out for unemployment so I can take a few weeks to fix my mental health after the sh-t I been through!
There is no way this is real. Executives blowing smoke up workers @$$es.
Hahaha that has to be a joke.
Well isn’t this post a stab in the heart to all of us who were demolished after serving them for over 20 years. Good luck living in oblivion. LMAO

Must be soon time for executive bonuses for a job well done.
If you don’t think they are already setting things up for the next merger, you are talking out of your a-s. This has been the plan since coming out of bankruptcy. It is the core reason for merging with Uniti.
Uniti is tiny. Their operation revolve around leasing fiber. Not operating it. 90% of their revenue comes from leasing fiber to WIN. They have a few hundred people. There isn't going to be any redundancies or massive "uniti is here now you need to be cut" type things unless you're in finance or one of those other core corporate shared services roles.
Everyone thinking about this like it's a merger of equals or its like any other telco M&A you've gone through in the past is talking out their a-s.
The cuts you should be worried about come after Zayo or whoever buys us down the line. They actually have departments that do what our departments do
Well you know what they always say. You feel really good and get a burst of energy right before you die. Don’t blink cause the axe is still swinging until the only folks left are exactly what Uniti wants and news flash they don’t really want many of the Windstream people.
Quality post Paul
Engineering Motto should be "Quality, unless half a-s solution is a nickle cheaper"
LOL - Over my decades of experience with Windstream - this is the classic lie told over and over - so either its management or a newbie starting this rehash.
When the CEO feels the need to tell the employees 'Windstream is not a prison, we do not lock the doors' does that really lend its self to 'things are looking better'?
According to the prior marketing post it sounds like people have been feeling good, and sticking together, literally.
