Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Any info on Subsurface re-org?

Will JK remain as the VP?
What about JM and JF? And the CTC GMs, any changes there?

They should also rename the "lower carbon molecules" under new energy to deadbeat molecules, or molecules that have no intention of making any money. Such a waste of time dealing with the new energy organization...staffed to the max, with no one doing any real work

Since chevron is looking for new external folks to fill leadership roles, perhaps we will hire the CTO of Waste Management as the subsurface VP. He will discover just as much oil as our subsurface crew.

Highly doubt JM or JF…

SN more likely unless MW decides that he still needs him in Permian

Most likely JM will get the nod, despite low energy and bizarre ideas. She is only 59 (despite appearances to the contrary).

JK will be 63 this year so he may not stick around given that EOI would get him effectively paid to age 64 anyhow. His replacement will likely be a lady.
