Why are international not included?

- US is the place where the most reduction will happen and thus where the most risk is to succession planning. Removing some uncertainty as to the size of the pool remaining is beneficial.
- Earlier cost savings and less potential distraction caused from this group later.
- Many non-U.S. locations have labor laws that specify timing of announcements and such. AEOI would violate that. I suspect that’s why we have a “Wave 2” of selections…probably to comply with lead time requirements.

Because my job is going to “internationals”. I don’t give an F about you guys.
No need to offer AEOI to non-Americans, US-based employees could be a nuisance with discrimination lawsuits. Not so for other countries. Also that MW covets the cheap labor outside the US, the more American AEOIs, the fewer you actually have to fire. #1 goal here is to outsource US positions to 3rd-world countries.
You are definitely “special”. That is why they are getting rid of Americans faster, nothing to do with pay!
Because we're special and you're not.
Why would you want it anyway? Take the extra couple of months of pay. They want the US employees to volunteer as tribute first since they’re so expensive.
Obviously the want to lay off more (expensive) US Payroll people than anyone else
