Is there really a freeze? I dunno. A handful of leaders all got promoted to SVP today. What a power play.

They've fought hard against this because they know that the people that would take it are usually the better performers and that's why they're frustrated.

CDW always freezes internal moves during the merit period. Every single year. So new hires are not frozen. Only internal transfers are. Please get facts straight before posting something that causes unnecessary drama.
I also have open roles I am hiring for and nobody has said anything about a freeze.
They are hiring, don’t you see the postings…..to backfill the people that were smart enough and able to leave. Or the positions that are partner funded and CDW profits off of what the partners pay them and pay a fraction to the employee.
I'd give it until April. After Q1 report.

What dept are you from and what types of leaders have you heard this from? Need some credentials otherwise this is merely hearsay.
