Normally seagate will pay bonus in March/Sept. Anything about the March bonus?

In last all hands meeting, it is declared that there is only one time bonus annually. That's after fiscal year end.
March confirm no bonus.
As soon as they came out with the healing journey joke meme I instantly knew I was never getting my stolen pay back. Total scam. Thats exactly the kind of thing you make up of you never intend to return the money you stole. Absolute thievery. Yep.
@b2+1 - Several years ago, the bonus mostly replaced annual pay increases for exempts. Not much was said about that as inflation was so low, you were not getting a large merit increase anyway. The company was exposed when their revenues took a dump and they maintained the dividend, making it clear where their loyalties lie.
fall in line behind the dividend
When they take away part of your pay for an extended period of time and they later say they have set up a healing path and they do not come through, it means you are just fe--s to them, hypocrites!
People accept a bonus to feel like they are sharing in the company success instead of all the rewards going to shareholders. If the product of the employees efforts produce a financial blessing to the company why would anyone think it shouldn't be shared with the people who actually produce and create? The only reason you should not expect a bonus is because the leadership of this company don't see employees that way.
Thats depressing. Of course for over half of my career, I never got a bonus. Ever. Wasn't until 20+ years and 3 jobs later that we were given a bonus...but they deposited it into our HSA. I actually didn't mind. Then the next job...15% bonus. Wow.
A bonus is extra $$. So why do people expect it?
Nothing for engineers or above. Hourly workers only. Expect no bonus in Sept. and you will have the right mindset.
