Unreal you people are suggesting Model e be cut. What are you thinking? DF is our most effective leader and Model e is our most crucial business unit. Current market conditions may have slowed the sunset of Blue, but it is still planned to be a business we exit. Sooner than you think. The message from leadership in our Global Town Halls is very clear on this.
Model E is delivering global features / architectures for both EV and ICE.
How can so many people on this site who claim to be employees not know that?
Once the EV Tax Credit is repealed, model e will come under incredible strain. Even Farley said layoffs likely if that were to happen.
Definitely not mass cuts. I know of low performers being cut but that’s it. And only 2 so far that I heard of.
But quiet firings have been happening so there could be more.

No separations in Model e. As has been discussed here and proven, Model e holds all the cards with Ford's future. Plus Model e is growing in not only the BEV space, but also with data and subscription services.
Business sense says you do not shrink your resources while you are growing.

50% rebate is required on EVs. Still there is no guarantee of sales as people don't want Ford EVs. Try convincing customers.
