Just heard that they are targeting RRP next….formal communication next week.

Purely sickening. I am a grade 26. Time to start looking.
@af enjoy it while you can. QVC is also going away next.
We were told that there would be a communication sent out to all the impacted employees about this. I'm impacted and never received anything - neither did anyone else on my team who are also 25's and 26's. Our leaders received an email, but we didn't see it. I don't trust this company... now I find out I'll be training our new offshore "sister" teammates. Sounds like I'm training my replacements!
So if you received 100% of your RRP and 2% increase that would be good?
So they will take away the bonus so anyone 26 or less will basically get a 1% merit increase going forward and there will no other incentive to work past your basic job duties.
Cheap ba----ds.
There is a wide range of comments here. Many believe this will increase their pay over the long term. It will not. By eliminating this potential yearly bonus, they'll just not pay out anything moving forward. It'll still be the usual 1-1.5% raise. This is a cost-saving measure, plain and simple. Just like eliminating the Bravo cash awards, that was lost entirely; it was not re-distributed as they said it would be.
As a manager of someone who is a 26 GL I got the email about this. I don't have any details other than "convert their target bonus opportunities to an equivalent increase in their base pay" whatever that means.
Can someone who knows more PLEASE explain in more detail this?
Let’s be honest. They say it will be added to merit increases, however remember what they said about Bravo going away?! We get the same story each year…..”the budget just isn’t there this year.”
RRP has yet to go up because of bravo being gone, but that’s the excuse they used to make it seem like it wasn’t so bad.
So it means if you don’t stay the full year you don’t get your full bonus….? This is horrible!
Received the email today. It won’t be dissolved. Just added to your yearly wage. So essentially - sounds like instead of a one-time award it will be spread out as part of your pay over the year.
This is so sad. I was promoted to a 27 recently but I feel for the people grade 26 and below. There is no way they received feedback from employees willing to lose their bonus.
It’s resulting in people making more money! So, let’s say your salary is $50,000. Your raise was 2% or $1,000 and your RRP 1% or $500. Under this change, your raise would be $1500.
Now, think about this from a compounding perspective. Raises are by percentage.
They have taken QVC away before as well. You think they aren’t going to lower it or cancel it again? Chances are they will. Been here a long time.
I've been in the QVC bonus for the past year. I've gotten 6k so far within 12 months. So, don't be so down on the RRP going away. Paygrade25, btw!
So what are they saying exactly? RRP going away but you'll get a pay bump instead? Is that each year? Say your making 50000 and had an rrp of 1000. So next year your merit will be higher than normal? Say it's 1% to 50500 but you didn't get your rrp so your raise will have to be 3% to get you 51500. I don't believe it for a second. You are essentially losing your annual bonus imo. And remember they dumped bravos and said will give you higher rrp. This is a brutal sc--w you to the lower levels if that was even possible.
This is ridiculous and disgusting! https://www.yourtango.com/news/unitedhealth-employees-offered-voluntary-layoffs-despite-profits
They aren't even trying to hide the tactic anymore. It is clear this will "encourage" all the people in the meeting yesterday to take the package and run all while it may convince others to find another job later this year. Once the dust settles they will move all those roles overseas and get what they want.
RRP is rewarding results program. It’s a yearly bonus based on performance. You get it each year during your annual review
What is RRP?
Two years in a row of zero to minimal raises- subpar bonuses- and now this and all the layoffs plus the complete tone deaf attitude from the koolaid drinkers it is unreal
It’s laughable at this point. Just another blow to morale. C Suite folks will continue to line their pockets and create unimaginable wealth for themselves and generations to come in their family at the expense of employees and members.
It is 100% accurate. All bonuses 26 and down will be discontinued. They state a corresponding bump in pay will happen as if you were getting a bonus but there is no way they can prove that nor will they probably do that. Best case is next year people get slight increases in their rates but without bonuses they still take a loss.
I hope this information is accurate and does not falsely impact anyone’s decision to resign.
This is 100% true. An email went out around 4pm EST today and caught everyone off guard. They are claiming this was "based on feedback" which I don't believe for a second. According to the note I saw, a communication is going out to staff later this week.
This really is going to hurt the employees who are left. Unreal.
So the people that make the least, and most likely need the bonus the most, now won't even get a bonus. Who the he-l are these people in charge!
