The CoC goals are out of control for 2025. There is no WAY Carelon CCA can meet its goals this year. We don’t have the technology, the man power, or the funding necessary to build out necessary processes to drive any innovations forward. We have 9 million meetings and NEVER solve anything. Maybe this is what they want to be able to justify further layoffs in the late winter early 2026. I’m appalled at the shear blind folds in the executive branch. Teams are burned out, piling more and more with no resources!!!! This is NOT our failure! This is very poor Executive leadership! Let’s get this straight there is funding that can be reappropriated BUT that means cutting “consultants” at the board of trustee level that don’t even work for anthem, taking a salary/bonus reductions at the executive branch, cutting useless “conferences” and travels for “private meetings and retreats”. Know this the Executive branch are not having any reductions in their bonus structures or payout this year. This is healthcare is absolutely shameful and unethical that Gail and all the executives which are 100’s can pull 12-20 million dollars a year plus while our members suffer, providers suffer, and Elevance team members suffer. As a middle leader I have had enough. I can’t keep selling my soul and try to rationalize then make ok the garbage every day that Elevance so graciously spills out.

It is everywhere. Ship headcount outside of country where they have no revenue. Pretend to have AI solve big problems, go to offsite, international visits and retreats. No budget to maintain outdated code, hardware, infrastructure. Same remaining staffs are buried with workload of all the incompetent contractors, consultants who just kiss a*s. It is amazing to see how these leaders are driving business and the country to the ground. At some point, the house of cards has to fall.
Executive leadership threw crumbs at the workers for merit/bonus hoping it would at least keep worker calm until more restructuring and layoffs can occur due their poor leadership…didn’t witk. Their manipulations, lies, and greed are coming out.
Yes! It is very difficult anymore to work for a company with such low moral values and disregard for anything other than the $ value of their targets and how it will affect their bonus year to year. Elevance is well known to have bottom barrel leadership who have failed miserably elsewhere. Ask anyone outside of Elevance and it is a running joke. Elevance does not showcase well on your resume as well competitors and vendors know how terrible our technology is, how disorganized we are, and no business acumen.

Cut ALL VP of Staffs glorified secretaries to manage the herd that the Executive VPs don’t want to deal with.
Coc goals have always been outrageous and impractical. I don’t take them seriously. Leadership puts do much emphasis on cr-p that won’t make a difference or is dangerous to our members. I go through their damn motions but none of it matters we could just cut half of SVP and that would be a great savings
