Without jira there is nothing for the mindless management can do to make it appear something useful is being done
Looks like layoffs and reorg are happening HR and they're bringing in more Executive and Sr Leaders.
jira experts were thrown away last time. this time need to cut some vps and dirs who only load corporate network with endless status meetings and self invented issues to discuss
Performance reviews are around the corner. So, expect layoffs, but unlikely in management specializing in manoeuvring tasks in Jira. They will blame "expensive typists".
Given many welcome emails introducing "AI" (All-India) new machine cogs, layoffs in the US and Europe are coming soon.
F5 stopped hiring competent people a long time ago. It's who you know now not what you know.niw Many of us laid off refused to play the game with the current CEO. We were about quality of product and service
they should hire more African Americans. but that's not happening.
AI = All Indians !
“ DEI hire is alive and well at F5”
What a nonsense! DEI? Where do you see Diversity if they hire predominantly Indians? Ouch, forgot F5 invested in AI - (All Indian).
I can tell who commented here are not Black! DEI hire is alive and well at F5!
“ They should layoff half the middle managers.”
More than a half! Most of them do nothing beyond moving Jira tickets and “checking status” at “agile” meetings. Trim the real fat.
Laying off half of middle av tytynagement is is a good idea however having a zero impact on quality means nothing as there is currently zero quality with products. The belief that f5 products have quality is a myth
They should layoff half the middle managers. It will be great for cost reduction and there will be zero impact on revenue or quality of products and services. Directors and RVPs are more liability than asset.
to previous comment: and the RC of those problems is "bad leadership and architects". count the number of VPs, Sr.Dirs and other yes men .
How can anyone be judged anything but a
low performer on Bigip Next and Bigip Next Central Manager? Both are riddled with problems
Doesn't surprise me that f5 is now changing its tune to use the term low performers. It can easily be used by a manager to get rid of someone that is outshining said manager. F5 is stooping to new lows
LAst week, our SVP asked a regional group of managers for a list of "low performers and employees not meeting return to office requirements" for what I can only assume is another RIF. I would put money on it being in early April...
Get your resumes contacts current and up to date and don't immediately dismiss a possible career change.
The human first approach that the f5 company touts is foremst in the execs minds when reducing expenses twice a year
No one/no group/no project is safe from being selected for the next RIF
Without layoffs how will f5 pay for all those new RVP hires?
Tired of layoffs, reorgs :(
