My LL6 has heard of no layoffs, but targeted terminations are possible.
There really aren't any updates. It's what keeps this site going. Every week or two there's a post about "bloodbath", or my personal favorite - the dreaded "it's coming....."

You don't solve issues by promoting well performing GSRs into management. You leave them where they are at - most don't have management aspirations - and just keep paying them thier bonuses, COLA, and merit raises. Throw a good engineer into a management position, then you just decreased your productivity.
Unfortunately I have a private meeting for 30 minutes tomorrow morning 2/19 as well. My PR was last week. So something is up. It’s not going to be a good Wednesday.
I meant 15 minutes for the scheduled meeting for me on Wednesday not 30.
I believe you that it is 2-19-25. I was off today but yesterday the manager over my dept put a 15 min meeting n my schedule for Wednesday for about 30 minutes after I start my shift. Not my team leader but the dept manager so I figure I am toast. I know it is not about anything else like promotion etc as I have 2 Mets and 4 inconsistent on my review which is the worst I have ever gotten in all my years at Ford. Credit.

I don't believe such a rumor. If this date was true, leadership would have let us know at the last Global Town Hall or via another official outlet. Therefore this rumor is unsubstantiated.
