I mean for 18 months all I've heard is "Launch this and Launch that" but have they actually "launched" anything, or are they just a bunch of imposters selling vaporware?

I was laid off in November, and after years of always dodging that bullet, my name was finally pulled out of the hat for the annual holiday workforce reduction. I too heard launch this / launch that, and had no idea what it was going to be, how it was going to benefit the company or the customers. Nobody seemed to know much about it other than it was costing the company of fortune. In my years with this company, I saw a regular annual workforce reduction every March and every November. Not too long after each of those workforce reductions, mass hiring took place. I think they were probably getting rid of the higher paid long time loyal employees to bring in new people looking for work and willing to settle for a smaller salary to get their foot in the door. Too bad nobody coming in has the knowledge that NTT Data has a revolving door in its workforce. This is an extremely poorly run company and head of HR Dean Williams, is nothing more than the equivalent of a used car salesman with a fancy title and a high salary.
I worked in Launch. Before that I was part of NTT Data. I worked there for 22 years. After going to Launch I was fired by Nate Spillson who's big idea is replacing his entire junior engineering team with AI. Launch is a sh-tshow, and the HR team that works with it is corrupt as he-l. I was only given 10 weeks of severance for those 22 years of excellent service and excellent reviews. I've also heard rumors of their HR being part of manager retaliation (helping managers fire people who report their bad behavior). The sooner Launch fails (which I believe it will) the better off NTT Data will be.
