Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Was Mike Baker's organization the only ones offered the buyout, or was it offered to other organizations?

I saw a comment saying that E&I was also impacted, so I'm hoping to get some clarity on this.

E&I was also impacted. Only ones under E&I who are “not eligible” are UMR and Sierra. So in the sharepoint with all the info on eligibility, when they say E&I not eligible it only means those 2 groups who fall under it.

Really weird, because if you read the info that was sent out, it specifically says E&I segment is NOT included in this. Although I’m E&I & our sups are telling us we are impacted.

Unemployment pays better than what they're offering.

I’m in E&I ops and we were included in the call but the severance says we are excluded. We can’t get answers from anyone either.

I just clocked out, I’m apparently a part of consumer ops even tho when we were bought out we were under E&I. On our call and q&a’s, it says E&I ops were ineligible for the VSOP layoff package. But idk. We’re all lost.

When you say that all of E&I was offered, does that mean everyone who reports to Dan Keuter? I know quite a few people underneath him, but I'm afraid to reach out to them about this over Teams in case that stuff is monitored

All E&I was offered, I'm a digital team advocate and they presented it as a better than regular layoff package.

It's a joke and at least in my state unemployment pays much better.
