I saw a comment saying that E&I was also impacted, so I'm hoping to get some clarity on this.

E&I was also impacted. Only ones under E&I who are “not eligible” are UMR and Sierra. So in the sharepoint with all the info on eligibility, when they say E&I not eligible it only means those 2 groups who fall under it.
Really weird, because if you read the info that was sent out, it specifically says E&I segment is NOT included in this. Although I’m E&I & our sups are telling us we are impacted.
Unemployment pays better than what they're offering.
I’m in E&I ops and we were included in the call but the severance says we are excluded. We can’t get answers from anyone either.
"Who is NOT eligible to participate in the VRSP?

Have a written employment or separation agreement with the Company.
Are classified as an independent contractor.
Are not actively employed by the company as of the separation date set forth by the VRSP.
Have been involuntarily terminated for any reason or are not in good standing prior to their last day of employment per the VRSP.
Are paid for services by any outside entity or through means other than the company’s internal corporate payroll system.
Are receiving or eligible to receive any separation-type benefits from the company from any source other than the VRSP. "
"Who IS eligible to participate in the VRSP?
You are eligible for the VRSP if, as of February 3, 2025, you meet the following eligibility criteria and maintain such eligibility criteria through your VRSP separation date:
You are a full-time or part-time employee working within the United States, either as an active employee or on a leave of absence;
You are in Salary Grade 32 or below (or equivalent Salary Grades); and
You are assigned to one of the following internal segments: UHC Benefit Ops—Consumer Ops, UHC Benefit Ops—Core Svcs, UHC Benefit Ops—Corporate, UHC Benefit Ops—Provider Svc."
Financial ops here ..meeting today
Financial Protection Services Ltd STD and life products. If you are on the health side it doesn't apply.
I just clocked out, I’m apparently a part of consumer ops even tho when we were bought out we were under E&I. On our call and q&a’s, it says E&I ops were ineligible for the VSOP layoff package. But idk. We’re all lost.
I'm in E&I and nobody in our department got offer.
Was web portal operations affected????
When you say that all of E&I was offered, does that mean everyone who reports to Dan Keuter? I know quite a few people underneath him, but I'm afraid to reach out to them about this over Teams in case that stuff is monitored
All E&I was offered, I'm a digital team advocate and they presented it as a better than regular layoff package.
It's a joke and at least in my state unemployment pays much better.
Is M&R affected?
I know of a few in E&I that got the call too.
Yes, E&I is majority of the ones impacted. So upsetting.
