Impact on O&M

Anyone have any insight into how much O&M will be impacted this time around? Specifically in the Permian. We’re still pretty busy but I feel like our teams are way too big to and we hired a ton of trainees the past year.

I heard a VP say it’s been a mistake to not cut O&M in past ROMs and that they will be in scope for this event.

It seems like O&M might be exempt on this one at least in the Permian , they’ve posted positions recently and typically wouldn’t do that if there were imminent cuts Operator/FS wise

O&M, especially unionized people, are usually exempt from this process. In the case of union O&M personnel, in particular the California refineries, union contract language would require cuts to be made by seniority - but that's never happened.

Permian O&M Will be offered one felt hat, then asked to walk.
