Had a talk with my manager - I was assured no job cuts on the horizon, everything is a ok, no need to panic everyone!

Just like our failing stock? About 50% down from high - I will just ignore that too.
Was told the exact same thing 2 weeks before the company let go 1000 people. Manager had no idea until 2 days before when he had to let people know.
